Folax Tablet

Composition (per tablet)

Bisacodyl 10mg

Presentation 2x10 tablets in blister pack.

Indications

It is indicated for the relief of occasional constipation, pre-operative evacuation and intestinal evacuation prior to radiology.

Dosage

Adults and children over 10 years: 1 tablet to be taken at bedtime.

For severe case in adults, dose may be increased to 2 tablets when required.

Contraindications Intestinal obstruction, acute surgical abdominal conditions and severe dehydration.

Precautions

The use of stimulant laxatives in children should be discouraged unless prescribed by a doctor.

If symptom persists, please consult your physician. Long-term treatment should be avoided.

Use in Pregnancy

Folax should be avoided in pregnancy.

Adverse Reactions

Mild abdominal cramping has occurred in some patients.

Store in a cool and dry place. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
