DESCRIPTION:

Opaque blue capsule filled with white powder.

COMPOSITION: Each capsule contains

Acetylcysteine (U.S.P.)............................................................................200mg

 

INDICATIONS:

Adjuvant treatment in certain clinical conditions characterized by the present of thick and viscous mucoid or mucopurulent secretions, e.g. chronic bronchopulmonary disease (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, emphysema with bronchitis, chronic asthmatic bronchitis, bronchiectasis); acute bronchopulmonary disease (asthma with bronchial mucous plugging, bronchitis bronchopneumonia, bronchiolitis).

 

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION*:

Adults : One capsule 3 times daily, best before meals.

Children (6-14 years): One capsule 2 times daily, best before meals.

 

PRECAUTIONS:

1.     People hypersensitive to acetylcysteine.

2.     It is suggested do not take concurrently with antibiotics, they should be administered 1-2 hours apart.

3.     Use in pregnant and nursing women has not been demonstrated harmful. Advise from health professionals is recommended.

4.     Care should be taken in taking this medicine if you have GIT problems,
